Chemaine Green
Lead Youth Worker |
Rachel Jones and Chemaine Green took over the work of Wolverhampton Youth For Christ in August 2014.
They bring with them extensive experience after spending the last 15 years working across 13 schools, providing assemblies based upon social and emotional aspects of learning from a Christian perspective, developing classroom lessons, drama workshops and study groups for ages 5 - 18, which has given them a perfect springboard for their roles at Wolverhampton Youth For Christ.
Rachel and Chemaine hit the ground running since their start in August, helping to run Live Wire Youth Group, securing a range of work in different secondary schools, varying from one to one mentoring, student led charity committees, support for year 7 induction days, Easter reflective art and lunchtime groups and taking a group for youth conference Rocknations at Life Church in Bradford.
More recently they have been networking with churches and other youth ministries, training up volunteers in mentoring and schools work, expanding their primary school work doing group mentoring, running Youth Alpha courses and a Rock Solid discipleship group.
Outside of Youth For Christ, Rachel and Chemaine are active members of their home church, Wednesfield Christian Centre, in praise and worship and in children's ministry.
